As an owner of commercial real estate, we understand what it takes to successfully manage an asset. We enhance property value by expertly controlling costs, meticulously maintaining building components, and implementing long-term strategic plans. To ensure that each Akridge team member can control operating costs while delivering incredible service, we extensively train our new employees. Our on-boarding process lasts six months and indoctrinates team members in our standard policies and procedures. We comprehensively train each new hire, and also coach and mentor them. As a result, we are able to care for buildings as if they were our own and apply our unparalleled management approach to each property we manage.
Guided by our mission of service, innovation, and results, our employees constantly try to anticipate tenants’ needs and surpass their expectations. Our award-winning tenant service consistently outperforms the region and our occupancy rates speak for themselves. tenants want to stay in our buildings.
TENANT ENGAGEMENT
The occupants of our buildings are key to our success. We feel so strongly about this that we refer to tenants as our tenants. Doing so reminds us how important they are in each decision we make and drives us to create meaningful connections with them.
Niche by Akridge™ is a tenant engagement program offering tailored information and services to tenants in Akridge managed buildings. We carefully designed the program to include a comprehensive suite of amenities, services, and information, so that tenant companies of all sizes can enjoy services typically limited to large corporations. Niche provides meaningful interactions with tenants that create loyalty and lead to long- term tenancy. Niche engages our tenants in three valuable areas: balance, community, and connection.
"Balance" is the area through which we help our tenants create a better work-life balance. Examples of this include health and wellness tips, commuter support, time savers, fitness services, and concierge-style engagement.
"Community" is the area through which we inform our tenants of opportunities available in their building and the surrounding neighborhood. Examples of this include a weekly calendar of community events, retailer discounts and promotions, construction activity awareness, charitable giving opportunities, emergency preparedness, and the safety and security features of the building.
"Connection" is the area through which we socialize with our tenants and remind them how valuable they are to us. We strengthen our relationships with tenants by providing a rewarding and positive experience. Examples of this include seasonal celebrations, opportunities for tenants to relax and socialize, inter-company networking, and one-on-one meetings with the building management team.
