Designed and developed as the COMSAT headquarters, this seven-story project comprises 350,000 gross square feet of office and three levels of parking below grade. Akridge was hired to meet the unique challenges inherent to the project: two base building architects, an interior architect, several specialty contractors, state-of-the-art high tech communications systems, and stringent administration and record-keeping systems.
Completed in 1993, the building was developed ahead of schedule and under budget.
