Centrally located two blocks from the White House between K and L Streets in downtown DC, 1016 Sixteenth Street was one of the first office condominium projects in the city. After purchasing the 1920s building, Akridge thoroughly renovated it in 2008 and began marketing floors to businesses wanting to own their space and build equity rather than pay rent. The last of the units sold in 2010. Akridge continues to provide property management services to the condominium owners' association.
